What Our Guests Say

An unforgettable wild experience
Oct 2025 • Couples
We had such a great time with SANA WILD EXPERIENCE. Everything was well organized, but what really made the difference was how fun and relaxed the whole trip felt. Our guide spoke perfect Spanish, explained lots of cool facts about the animals and the parks, and made every drive exciting (and full of laughs!).

Even when our flight was delayed on the last day, they didn’t leave us alone — they planned an extra activity so we could enjoy the day instead of waiting at the airport.
If you’re visiting Tanzania and want a worry-free safari with good vibes, we 100% recommend SANA WILD EXPERIENCE

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

7 days enough for this Northern Tanzania safari?

Yes. A 7 day Northern Tanzania Safari is an amount of time to see the famous Northern Safari Circuit, in Tanzania. This itinerary allows you to explore Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park at a comfortable pace while enjoying multiple game drives and incredible wildlife encounters. It’s ideal for travelers who want a well-rounded safari experience without feeling rushed.

Is it possible to spot the Big Five during this 7-day safari?

Yes, this safari offers an excellent chance of spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see black rhinos, while the Serengeti and Tarangire are home to large populations of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and, with a bit of luck, elusive leopards. Since wildlife moves freely in its natural habitat, sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the chances are very high.

Is this safari private?

Yes. This itinerary is available as a private safari, allowing you to travel at your own pace with a dedicated professional guide and private 4×4 safari vehicle. We can also arrange shared safaris on selected departure dates for travelers looking for a more budget-friendly option.

Which airport should I fly into?

The recommended airport is **Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)**, which is conveniently located between Arusha and Moshi. Our team can arrange airport pickup and drop-off to ensure a smooth start and end to your safari. If you’re already in Arusha, we can also pick you up directly from your hotel.

What should I pack for the safari?

We recommend packing lightweight clothing in neutral colors, a warm jacket for early morning game drives, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, binoculars, a camera with extra memory cards and batteries, personal medications, and travel documents. When you are packing for your Tanzania safari, remember to use soft luggage. This will make it easier to get your stuff in and out of the safari vehicles.

Is Wi-Fi available during the safari?

Most lodges and tented camps included in the safari offer Wi-Fi in common areas or guest rooms. However, internet speeds may be slower than what you’re used to, especially in remote areas. Mobile network coverage is available in many locations, but may be limited inside some national parks.

What vaccinations are recommended before traveling to Tanzania?

We recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health clinic several weeks before your trip. Depending on your travel history and country of origin, vaccinations such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Tetanus, and Yellow Fever (if arriving from or transiting through a country where Yellow Fever is present) may be recommended or required. Malaria prevention is also commonly advised for many travelers.

Can children join this safari?

Absolutely. This safari is suitable for families with children, and we can tailor the itinerary to make it enjoyable for younger travelers. Family-friendly accommodations and child-friendly game drive schedules can be arranged. We recommend discussing the ages of your children with us so we can provide the most suitable safari experience.

Is this safari suitable for seniors?

Yes. This safari is suitable for senior travelers who are comfortable spending time in a safari vehicle during game drives. The itinerary is designed to be relaxed, with comfortable accommodations and regular breaks. We are happy to accommodate any mobility or accessibility requirements whenever possible.

Is it possible to extend my safari trip with a Zanzibar beach escape?

Yes. Many of our guests choose to combine their Tanzania safari with a relaxing beach holiday in Zanzibar. We can arrange domestic flights, hotel accommodations, transfers, and customized beach extensions, allowing you to enjoy the perfect combination of wildlife adventure and tropical relaxation.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Yes. We can accommodate a wide range of dietary preferences and requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and other special meal requests. Please let us know your dietary needs when booking so we can make the necessary arrangements with your accommodations.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking your safari at least 3 to 6 months in advance, particularly if you plan to travel during the peak safari season from June to October or during the Great Migration. Booking early helps secure your preferred accommodations, availability, and travel dates. You can also book your Tanzania safari at the minute but this will depend on if there are any spots available.
