Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. During the dry season, the Tarangire River attracts thousands of animals, making it one of Tanzania’s best wildlife-viewing destinations.

The following day takes you to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden. The crater floor is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and countless other species.

This combination offers one of the highest chances of seeing an incredible variety of animals within a short period.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you’ll drive toward Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately two to three hours through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside.
Upon arrival, you’ll begin your game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes, which include open savannah, seasonal swamps, acacia woodlands, and the famous giant baobab trees.
Tarangire is renowned for hosting one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. It is common to encounter families of elephants crossing the roads or gathering along the Tarangire River.
Besides elephants, keep an eye out for:

• Zebras
• Wildebeest
• Buffaloes
• Impalas
• Warthogs
• Ostriches
• Baboons
• Over 500 species of birds

Enjoy a Packed lunch in the park surrounded by nature before continuing your afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, depart for your lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater - late afternoon drive back to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

Known as one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders, the crater is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife living within its enclosed ecosystem.

Wildlife commonly seen includes:

  • Elephants
  • Buffaloes

  • Hyenas
  • Zebras

  • Thomson’s gazelles

Your guide will search for the famous Big Five while sharing fascinating information about the crater’s unique ecosystem and wildlife.

After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, continue your game drive before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha, where your safari concludes in the late afternoon.

DAY 3: Visiti Tarangire Park-Karatu

Early after your breakfast, You’ll have game drive in Tarangire national park as additional day this is to make sure that you have enough time to enjoy this beautiful park in northern Tanzania.

Enjoy your picnic lunch then driver to Karatu which serves as entrance to the Ngorongoro Highlands and is found between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Due to its location, many safari goers end up over knighting or stopping here for a quick break earning it the nickname “Safari Joint” .Arrival for dinner and overnight. Accommodation as arranged.

DAY 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Early in the morning after breakfast collect lunch boxes ,game en route on the way to Ngorongoro Crater which is one of Africa’s most famous sites it’s the place where you can find the black rhinos and black manned lions.

Enjoy Spectacular scenery in this largest caldera in Africa, enjoy your picnic lunch then drive to Serengeti national park game drive en route arrival for dinner and overnight. Accommodation as arranged.

DAY 5 & 6: Serengeti (Soronera Valley)

The Seronera River Valley is one of the most popular areas in the entire park,is what the Maasai called it “Siringeti”the land of endless plains, known as the Big Cat Capital of Africa. Soronera is rich in lion, leopard and cheetah. Its classic savannah dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife. Serengeti is likely the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world.

These seemingly unending plains contain, during the months of the migration huge numbers of wildebeest and zebra with estimates of up to 1.8 million can witness and make your trip unforgettable. Enjoy the evening game drive dinner and overnight at your respective accommodation.

DAY 7: Serengeti-Karatu

You will start your game drive as soon as you step out of your room. Serengeti National Park is undeniably the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unique for its natural magnificence and organized value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa.

After breakfast depart on an exciting game en route drive to Karatu which serves as entrance to the Ngorongoro Highlands and is found between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. DAY 8: Karatu-Arusha

Today as we finalize our safari adventure take some time for early breakfast while sharing your adventure stories, before your journey to Arusha town starts on the way enjoy the great views of Tanzania’s landscapes people and towns, you can go for shopping according to your interest .
