Local Community Interactions

Spend time with local communities and discover everyday life in Tanzania.

  • Visit local markets and schools
  • Learn simple Swahili words

“Tanzania is awesome. Taranguire, Serengeti and Nogorongoro were fascinating. We saw fantastic places. We saw thousands of animals. Seif is a magnificent guide, quite a hunter!!! Thanks to him we enjoyed some great adventures. He also took us to eat local food, taught us local customs, and helped us a lot with the language. He also speaks fantastic Spanish and has a great mood. Rafikki, it’s been a pleasure to meet you, and lucky you’ve been our guide.”

Best Time to Visit Tanzania with Family

The best season for a Tanzania Family Safari is during the dry season (June to October), when wildlife is easier to spot.

However, the green season (November to March) offers fewer crowds, beautiful scenery, and excellent value—ideal for a more relaxed experience.

How Long Should a Family Safari Be

For the BEST experience, we recommend 6 to 10 days.

This gives your family enough time to explore multiple parks while keeping the journey comfortable and enjoyable for children.
