Safari Overview

The safari starts from Arusha to Tarangire national park the great place for African elephants and the worlds baobab garden, then visit Lake Manyara national park it’s a small park but famed for the tree-climbing lions, its shallow soda lakes and quite a number of flamingos. You will visit the Ngorongoro crater ,which is often called the “Eden of Africa ”Ngorongoro crater was officially hailed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2015.

The presence of the magnificent black manned lions and the rare black rhinos completes its fascinating Eco system. you will end up your vacation in Serengeti which is the home of Big Five .Sana Wild Experience will make sure that you have a pleasant accommodation.

DAY 1: Arrival Arusha

Our driver Guide will arrive at the airport to pick you on your arrival,Then depart from airport whereby you will drive to Arusha town,It’s the city where the natives still practice their culture and these are the Maasai,Arusha is their home land. Our guide will drop you at the lodge booked for overnight

DAY 2 & 3: Visit West Kilimanjaro

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park.The Park is known for its Elephants and huge baobab trees.You will see these enormous creatures travelling in families and you surely will not miss the extraordinary care they give to their young ones,Here you will have the opportunity to simply sit and watch.Set your cameras ready for the best shots, at this point you can get an outstanding view of these creatures and the entire wilderness. Baobab trees are impressive trees that can live for thousands of years. Animals can be found in the rainy seasons, but the concentration of wildlife tends to be better during the dry seasons.At the end of the day drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight around Tarangire national park . Accommodation as arranged .

DAY 4: Visit Arusha Park

After breakfast drive to Arusha national park If you have never seen the Arusha national park then you must spend a day there. Although it’s not one of the most exciting parks, there are no cats likely to jump out and eat a hippo in front of you .But, there are some beautiful scenic and you will see some animals you may not have seen before in the other parks .you’ll get up close to huge flocks of Flamingos you will gaze up at the swinging black and white monkey and you will be left in awe at the sheer number of majestic giraffe who seem to congregate at every corner of the park .you are also likely to spot herds of buffaloes, the shy bushbucks at the perimeter of the forest also the warthogs and zebras. 

As you are heading towards the Ngurdoto Crater you will find yourself in a flourishing rainforest – After your picnic lunch with game en route drive to Karatu town for your dinner and overnight. The colorful town of Karatu which served as a comforting pause from our wildlife safari. Located alongside the northern safari circuit, Karatu serves as entrance to the Ngorongoro Highlands and is found between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. Due to its location, many safari goers end up overnight or stopping here for a quick break earning it the nickname “Safari Joint”.

DAY 5: Visit Tarangire national park

After breakfast drive to Tarangire Park,The Tarangire River, after which the park is named, provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. When the Maasai Steppes dry up with the end of the long rains season in June, migratory animals return to the River, making Tarangire National Park second only to Serengeti in the concentration of wildlife like Elephants, Wildebeests, and Zebras. Tarangire national park is also known as the big two park since its popular with large number of elephants and baobab trees scattered all around the savannah, it’s also famous with the tree climbing pythons which are seen easily and regularly cross your path, other animals likely to be seen are the predators – particularly lion, leopard and cheetah. After your late afternoon game drive depart to your respective Accommodation for dinner and overnight. Accommodation as arranged

DAY 6: Visit Lake Manyara national park

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic lake that made Ernest Hemingway exclaim. This offers a compact-game viewing circuit and is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park and at the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley. LakeManyara national park is more famous for tree climbing lion. Elephant drinking andwallowing in the refreshing water, giraffe, troops of baboon, zebras and buffalo’s. Over 400 species of birds can be found in Lake Manyara National include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. After yourpicnic lunch with game en route drive to Karatu town for your dinner and overnight. Accommodation as arranged

DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, we will depart for a full day game drive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. It is not a national park in the strict sense of the word, but was rather established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It exists to safeguard the interests of indigenous people as well as promote tourism. 

Thus, guests on safari have the unique experience of seeing Maasai herdsmen with their cattle among the tremendous variety of wildlife found in the area. Ngorongoro is often regarded as the 8th wonder of the world, from stunning landscape, wildlife concentrations to the cradle of mankind. Ngorongoro has it all. The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area is home to more than 30 000 protected animals. It is an area of spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing, a truly unique safari destination in Africa. When you lucky enough you may be able to see Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Buffalo as well as large herd’s Zebras and Wildebeest. 

The beauty of this place is from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once including the magnificent black manned Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo and The rare Black Rhinos. Your journey will take you throughout this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water or easy prey possibly to spot the kill. A picnic lunch will be taken in to the Crater.In the mid Afternoon drive to Serengeti national park for dinner and overnight Accommodation as arranged

DAY 8 & 9: Visit Serengeti National Park

waking up in Serengeti national park is what you cant miss , the beautiful sunrise from the horizon of the endless plains is the best to be experienced. After breakfast start your game drive to the great wildlife destination the Serengeti national park. Famously known as the endless plains there is nowhere to stand and see the end of the Serengeti national park. The presence of permanent water in the central Seronera valley ensures year round game-viewing, during the dry season cheetahs are forced to come in off the plains and congregate in extremely high numbers as there are enough preys. 

Serengeti is your best bet: this region is hailed as the best place to see predators particular lion, leopard and cheetah – on thrilling hunts. After the amazing day. Enjoy the sundown as you wind up your days of so much fun, in the evening drive to your lodge/camp for Dinner and overnight. Accommodation as arranged.

DAY 10: Karatu/Arusha

After breakfast with picnic lunches descend the crater for a crater tour,The Maasai have given Ngorongoro Crater its name, meaning “the black hole”.Ngorongoro crater tend to be the top tourist destination. There is a big number of wildlife in the Ngorongoro crater including Lions, Black Rhino, Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Wildebeests and Zebras. After the crater tour drive up to the crater rim then drive back to Arusha for your onward arrangements. KARIBU SANA
