Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak on every continent, is the easiest of the “Seven Summits” to reach. Kilimanjaro is the most popular mountain to climb.

The peak can be reached using seven approved routes. The most well-traveled path is the Marangu one, which is the quickest and most accessible and features community shelters. Most individuals never make it to the peak because they are unable to acclimate to the altitude. The mountain had to be climbed by an 89-year-old woman and a 7-year-old child, respectively.
